Pinto beans

Tasty speckled beans

Pinto beans or lapwing beans can be recognized from their speckled appearance. They have a soft and creamy taste. Just like the Borlotti bean, the pinto bean loses its pattern when cooked. The beans are often found in Mexican cuisine.
